There is a parking lot at the beach and another a about a mile away. Call the Friends of Mazo Beach at 608/798-1954 for more information.
Directions: Located near Sauk City, WI, it takes about 4 hours to drive to Mazo Beach from the Twin Cities. Take I-94 East to US 12 (Baraboo Exit). Follow US 12 toward Baraboo to Sauk City (approx. 20 miles). In Sauk City, After crossing the Wisconsin River turn right on Route 78. At Cty Rd Y turn right and go about 4 miles to the SECOND Laws road (it's a loop). This is a paved road on the right. Follow it for 1/4 mile to a gravel road on the left (Conservation Road).

The vegetation on the gay portion of the beach has been cut down and areas have been restricted from access, in attempts to eliminate cruising. Still, it is a great place to enjoy some nude sunbathing; one of the only places in the Midwest.
