  • Clothing Optional in dunes only but not widely accepted, Use caution
  • May be harassed by beachgoers or cited by rangers
  • Nudity in the dunes and sheltered areas only, Do not go nude on beach  
  • Not advisable to be nude on beach
  • Weekdays only in spring and fall. Too many campers in summer months and on          weekends.
  • Very few nudists (0-10 tops)
  • Mostly Gay
  • Sexual Activity-Medium in dunes but very risky
  • Easy access down beach from pay parking lot
    •   Directions: From Coronado: take SR-75 south through town and down through the silver strand. Turn into Silver Strand State Beach, pay the entrance fee for parking. Park in northern most portion of the lot and walk the beach north. The current nude use is mostly found in the remote northern area closer to the naval base. There will be very few nudists here but when there are it can be fun in the dunes. Be discrete. The Navy doesn’t like us Mo’s.
