Directions: going west out of Palm Springs on SR-111 or Interstate 10 exit onto Whitewater Canyon Road and proceed north (when coming from SR-111 go over the Railroad tracks and continue on Whitewater Canyon over Interstate 10 which parallels SR-111about 3 miles north). Continue into canyon for several miles. You will pass through a residential area and go up the canyon on a winding road. Look for the third parking pull out on the right side of the road (before you get to the private trout farm). Park and bring drinking water with you. Continue walking to the right going to the creek/creek bed surrounded by shrubs. The gay play area is upstream to the left side of the creak bed. Watch out for rattlesnakes and scorpions.
